Book of the Generations of Adam
1 This [zeh] is the book [cephar-scroll-masculine/feminine] of the descendants [towlĕdah-feminine] of Adam (Red-masculine). In the day [yom-masculine] that the Mighy Ones [Elohim-masculine] created [bara'-singular] the red ground-lings [`adam-masculine], in the likeness [dĕmuwth-feminine] of the Mighty Ones [Elohim-masculine] made [`asah-plural] They them [hem];
2 Male [zakar-masculine] and female [nĕqebah-feminine] created [bara'-singular] They them [hem]; and blessed [barak] them [hem], and called [qara'] the name [shem-masculine] of them [hem] Red Ground-ling [`adam-masculine], in the day [yom-masculine] of their [hem] being created [bara'-singular].
Adam's Children
His Lifespan
3 And Adam (Red-masculine) lived [chayah] an hundred [me'ah-feminine] and thirty [shĕlowshiym-masculine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] a son in his own likeness [dĕmuwth-feminine], after his image [tselem-masculine]; and called [qara'] his name [shem-masculine] Seth (Compensation-masculine):
4 And the days [yom-masculine] of Adam (Red-masculine) after [`achar] he had generated [yalad] Seth (Compensation-masculine) were eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
5 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] that came to be [hayah] which ['asher] Adam (Red-masculine) lived [chayay] were nine [tesha'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and thirty [shĕlowshiym-masculine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Seth's Lifespan
6 And Seth (Compensation-masculine) lived [chayah] a hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] Enosh (Mortal Human-masculine):
7 And Seth (Compensation-masculine) lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Enosh (Mortal Human-masculine) eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] and seven [sheba'-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
8 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] of Seth (Compensation-masculine) were nine [tesha'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] and twelve [`asar=ten-masculine/feminine/shĕnayim=two] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Enosh's Lifespan
9 And Enosh (Mortal Human-masculine) lived [chayah] ninety [tish'iym] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] Cainan [Qeynan-Possession-masculine]:
10 And Enosh (Mortal Human-masculine) lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Cainan [Qeynan-Possession-masculine] eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and fifteen [`asar=ten-masculine/feminine/chamesh=five-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
11 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] of Enosh (Mortal Human-masculine) were nine [tesha'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Cainan's Lifespan
12 And Cainan [Qeynan-Possession-masculine] lived [chayah] seventy [shib'iym] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] Mahalale'el (Praise of the Mighty One-masculine):
13 And Cainan [Qeynan-Possession-masculine] lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Mahalale'el (Praise of the Mighty One-masculine) eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and forty [`arba'iym] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
14 And all the days of Cainan [Qeynan-Possession-masculine] were nine [tesha'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and ten [`eser-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Mahalale'el's Lifespan
15 And Mahalale'el (Praise of the Mighty One-masculine) lived [chayah] sixty [shishshiym] years [shaneh-feminine] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] Jared [Yered-Descent-masculine]:
16 And Mahalale'el (Praise of the Mighty One-masculine) lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Jared [Yered-Descent-masculine] eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and thirty [shĕlowshiym-masculine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
17 And all the days of Mahalale'el (Praise of the Mighty One-masculine) were eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and ninety [tish'iym] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Jared's Lifespan
18 And Jared [Yered-Descent-masculine] lived [chayah] a hundred [me'ah-feminine] sixty [shishshiym] years [shaneh-feminine] and two [shĕnayim] years [shaneh-feminine], and he generated [yalad] Enoch [Chanowk-Dedicated]:
19 And Jared [Yered-Descent-masculine] lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Enoch [Chanowk-Dedicated] eight [shĕmoneh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
20 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] of Jared [Yered-Descent-masculine] were nine [tesha'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and sixty [shishshiym] years [shaneh-feminine] and two [shĕnayim] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Enoch's Lifespan on Earth, Whom the Mighty Ones Took Up
21 And Enoch [Chanowk-Dedicated] lived [chayah] sixty [shishshiym] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] Methuselah: [Mĕthuwshelach-Man of the Missle-masculine].
22 And Enoch [Chanowk-Dedicated] walked [halak] with [`eth] the Mighty Ones [Elohim-masculine] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Methuselah [Mĕthuwshelach-Man of the Missle-masculine] three [shalowsh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
23 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] of Enoch [Chanowk-Dedicated] were three [shalowsh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and sixty [shishshiym] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]:
24 And Enoch [Chanowk-Dedicated] walked [halak] with [`eth] the Mighty Ones [Elohim-masculine]: then he was no where [`ayin]; for the Mighty Ones [Elohim-masculine] took [laqach] him.
Methuselah's Lifespan
25 And Methuselah [Mĕthuwshelach-Man of the Missle-masculine] lived [chayah] a hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and eighty [shĕmoniym] and seven [sheba'-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] Lamech (Powerful-masculine):
26 And Methuselah [Mĕthuwshelach-Man of the Missle-masculine] lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Lamech (Powerful-masculine) seven [sheba'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] eighty [shĕmoniym] and two [shĕnayim] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
27 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] of Methuselah [Mĕthuwshelach-Man of the Missle-masculine] were nine [tesha'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and sixty [shishshiym] and nine [tesha'-masculine/ feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Lamech's (Noah's Father) Lifespan
28 And Lamech (Powerful-masculine) lived [chayah] a hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and eighty [shĕmoniym] and two [shĕnayim] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] a son [ben-masculine]:
29 And he called [qara'] his name [shem-masculine] Noah (Rest-masculine), saying [`amar], "This one [zeh], he shall comfort [nacham] us [nu] in our [nu] labor [ma'aseh-plural-masculine] and toil [`itstabown-masculine] of our [nu] hands [yad-feminine], because of [min] the red ground [`adamah-feminine], she which ['asher] Ehyeh [I AM]] made to be cursed [`arar].
30 And Lamech (Powerful-masculine) lived [chayah] after [`achar-feminine] he generated [yalad] Noah (Rest-masculine) five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and ninety [tish'iym] and five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine], and generated [yalad] sons [ben-masculine] and daughters [bath-feminine]:
31 And all [kol] the days [yom-masculine] of Lamech (Powerful-masculine) were seven [sheba'-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine] and seventy [shib'iym] and seven [sheba'-masculine/feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and he died [muwth].
Noah's Children
32 And Noah (Rest-masculine) was a son [ben-masculine] of five [chamesh-masculine/feminine] hundred [me'ah-feminine] years [shaneh-feminine]: and Noah (Rest-masculine) generated [yalad] Shem (Name-masculine), Ham [Cham-Hot], and Japheth [Yepheth-Opened-masculine].
